We keep the process clear and compliant whether you’re purchasing in Maryland or buying from another state. No confusion, no shortcuts—just responsible ownership.
What This Page Covers
Maryland Buyers
Handgun sales in Maryland require specific steps (HQL + 77R + waiting period). We’ll walk you through it.
Out-of-State Buyers
If you’re not a Maryland resident, we can ship your firearm to your local FFL—never directly to a person.
Sales Process Overview
Purchase online from our shop or contact us about a specific model. If you’re unsure, we’ll help you choose responsibly.
Maryland and out-of-state buyers follow different steps. We confirm what applies to your situation before pickup/shipping.
All transactions are completed in accordance with federal and state law, including required forms and waiting periods.
Maryland pickups are by appointment. Out-of-state orders ship to the buyer’s chosen local FFL after verification.
Maryland Residents: What to Expect
Maryland handgun purchases include additional steps. We can assist if you contact us, and we’ll keep the process straightforward.
- HQL (Handgun Qualification License) may be required for handgun purchases (as applicable).
- 77R (MSP Application) must be completed for regulated firearm purchases.
- Mandatory 7-day waiting period applies for Maryland handgun purchases.
- After the applicable steps are complete, schedule an appointment to finalize the sale and complete ATF Form 4473.
If you need help navigating the 77R process, contact us—we can assist you through the steps so it’s done correctly.
Out-of-State Buyers: Shipping to Your Local FFL
If you are purchasing from outside Maryland, your firearm must ship to a licensed FFL in your home state. You will choose a local FFL and provide their information. We ship to FFLs only—never directly to an individual.
- You choose a local receiving FFL and provide their details.
- We verify the receiving FFL before shipment.
- The receiving FFL completes the final transfer paperwork with you.
Designated Collector (Maryland)
Maryland residents may apply for Designated Collector status, which can make it easier to purchase multiple regulated firearms over time. If you plan to purchase more than one regulated firearm, this is worth considering.

HQL & Training-First Ownership
Train • Shoot • Live is more than a tagline—it’s our standard. We believe new owners should leave with the skills and mindset to protect themselves and their family responsibly. If you need an HQL or want to build confidence before you buy, training is the smart first step.
We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice. We provide process guidance and training based on applicable requirements and standard compliance practices.
Accessories & Ammunition
Optics & Sights
Red dots, iron sights, and practical setups built for reliability—not hype.
Ammo & Essentials
Ammunition availability varies. If you’re unsure what you need, we’ll keep the recommendation simple and purpose-driven.
Not Sure Where to Start?
Whether you’re buying your first firearm or adding to an existing setup, we’re here to help you make responsible, informed decisions.
Training is often the smartest first step for new owners and those returning after time away.
